Process of economic development depends upon several factors and human factor is the most essential factor which effectively influences the development of a country. An investment in human beings has been a major source of growth in advanced countries, the negligible amount of human investment in under developed countries has done little to extend the capacity of people to meet the challenge of accelerated development. So an improvement in quality of the “human factor” is then as essential as investment in physical capital. An advance in knowledge and the diffusion of new ideas and objectives are necessary to remove economic backwardness and instill the human abilities and motivations that are more favourable to economic achievement.
Education is the most important factor to explore such human abilities which effectively and efficiently contribute in economic development of a state. Many villages in Haryana still lack access to secondary schools. Only those who can afford to travel far away attend school. People still send their sons, but most girls do not study beyond middle school.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is
always to try just one more time.
